Harrison St Early Education is a not- for profit community based early educations service established in 1985 to provide affordable quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

The service is approved to operate by the Department of Education and is accredited
as EXCEEDING the National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care.

Our Team

We pride ourselves on the quality education and care given by our educators. Many of whom have been at the service for 10 to 20+ years. We exceed standards in educator to child ratios to encourage and promote positive relationships between children and educators.

We provide a nurturing and safe environment that promotes children’s well-being, development, and learning. We value play and advocate for the child’s right to play. Our play-based curriculum engages children in rich and meaningful experiences and develops essential skills for successful learners.

Harrison St Early Education is not-for-profit putting children first and investing any surplus in the quality of the service. The service is managed by an experienced director and parent committee whose contribution is vital to the principles of community management and ownership.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the fabulous educators at HSEE. It’s comforting sending Oliver and Ella to Daycare knowing they are in such wonderful hands! We really appreciate it how you cater to their specific interests… Ollie is always telling us about activities involving fossils, dinosaur hunts, volcanoes, bug catching etc, which he really thrives off!

Thank you all ‘Tonka truckloads’ for being amazing carers for our son Harvey. Every week you make our precious little introvert feel comfortable and confident to grow around a big bunch of kids – a huge achievement in our eyes!
